Sarah Naira Hachem Herfurth, a Berlin-based multidisciplinary practitioner, researcher, lecturer, architect, artist, and activist, is dedicated to tackling social, environmental, and spatial injustices. Her work, steeped in her Lebanese heritage, employs mixed media to challenge societal norms. Focused on post- and decolonial theories in architecture, Sarah, alongside her partner Ana Rodriguez Bisbicus, co-founded the duo Habi (حبي). They currently lead an extensive study project at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt, Department of Urban and Regional Planning. For the University of Arts Berlin (UdK Berlin) and the Decolonial Academy for the Berlin Decolonial Festival 2023 they developed a series of seminars and guest lectures. Sarah Naira holds an MA in Architecture from the UdK Berlin and studied Art History in a Global Context with the Focus on Africa at the Free University Berlin.
